And so, to the business in hand. Once all the scoring had been done by the excellent group of official SSRA Scorers, and all food and drink had been consumed, it was time to relax and reflect on the day's happenings. What could have been, should have been, and what indeed was. It was time for the presentations to begin.

Master of Ceremonies for this part in the proceedings was SSRA Chairman Richard Tilstone, who delivered his words with great aplomb, as always. Making the presentations of the awards was SSRA President Mike B.P. Willcox, who did so with poise and style.

And so, on with the show! The first set of trophies to be presented were the Staffordshire Confined Prizes, together with a special award for a very deserving lady.

Having been a valued member of the Market Drayton Rifle Club committee for many years, Judith was also appointed as SSRA Treasurer in 2010 during which time she has shown a very commendable approach and aptitude for keeping the accounts meticulously in order.

To have given her time and commitment to both organisations over this period says a lot about Judith's dedication and willingness to serve the sport that she so obviously loves.

In addition to Judith carrying out her numerous committee based tasks, Judith continues to be the guiding light in her role as the Supervising Scorer at the Staffordshire Combined Open Squadded Rifle Meeting, a position which she has held for the past 8 years.

Sincere congratulations to Judith from all connected with the SSRA, in recognition of her outstanding contribution over the years.

Long may you continue to do so for many years to come!
