SSRA Combined Open Squadded Rifle Meeting 2026 - A Pictorial Record
A selection of photographs that were taken at the meeting are now displayed on this webpage.
As always, if you spot any mistakes or inaccuracies, please contact the Website Manager.
The weekend of the Staffordshire Combined Open Squadded Rifle Meeting 2026 was greeted with rather pleasant and comfortably temperate conditions, especially when compared to the climatic extremes of the previous weeks leading up to the event.
The turnout of competitors for the event was a little lower than in previous years. However, this didn't diminish the excitement and anticipation in any way, as smiles and cheerful banter was the order of the day. All in all, another very enjoyable Open was witnessed.
One notable absence from the proceedings was the outside catering van which usually keeps the famished folks fully satisfied! None-the-less the kind hearted and eager souls who were in attendance, supporting their nearest and dearest, rallied round to provide some very welcome snacks and pastries, and the obligatory hot drinks! Many thanks for keeping the troops fed and watered!
Once again, a very competitive event was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
Shown below, and over the following pages, are a selection of photographs which were taken at the event, and which hopefully will serve as a happy reminder of what occurred on that special Sunday.
