A glorious day in the Baldwins Gate sunshine gave rise to another excellent spectacle of shooting, where everyone competed to their absolute max.
Expectations of those involved were high, nerves were jangling, and hearts were pounding, as the strains of their efforts throughout the day's competition finally gave way to a more sedately pace, where relaxation was now to the fore. The time had finally arrived to learn of their efforts, and for them to receive their awards.
The Master of Ceremony for the occasion was SSRA Chairman - Richard Tilstone, whom delivered his words in his usual eloquent style.
Richard was also afforded the honour of presenting the many prizes and awards, which he carried out magnificently.
The first set of awards to be presented were the Staffordshire Open Prizes.
