After another glorious day in the sunshine where everyone competed to the max as always, it was now time to learn of the efforts of the competitors, and for them to receive their awards befitting of the event and their endeavours.
Master of Ceremony for the occasion was the rather dapper SSRA Chairman - Richard Tilstone, whom smoothly delivered his words with his usual style and finesse.
Presenting the awards on the day with such grace and enthusiasm was the delightful Mrs. Janet Troke, wife of the late Fred Troke, whom was a former Vice President of the Staffordshire Smallbore Rifle Association, and an accomplished shot in his own right.
The first set of awards to be presented were the Staffordshire Open Prizes.
